The pickups I won from the PAF contest poll thread came in the mail yesterday, and boy do they look great! I had James wind me a set of his high output 'buckers with zebra bobbins and nickel covers.

I want to thank James again for having the contest and making this possible

.

As soon as I've a guitar to toss these things into, I'll be posting a video review of what I think of their tone and how they handle various styles of playing.

Funny you should say that.

I've got 4 sets of pick ups coming in from various sources....various colours, and outputs.
Going to be fun mixing and matching them all until I get the "right ones" into the various guitars.

Yeah, I might have a bit of mixing and matching to do

. I've got the original Shaws with gold covers from my LPC, a black/uncovered SD JB/Jazz set, and now these ReWind PAFs. Hopefully each set will be its own best match for the guitar it goes in, because I don't like silly looking guitars

btw -

I know those little stickers on the bottom are sorta, well, "unprofessional." I'm having some proper waterside decals made now like the PAF stickers, but with my logo. They will look something like what's in my signature photo below, but say "bridge" or "neck" on the side also.

Al, when I get them in-hand, I'll gladly send you a set of the decals to replace those white ones with, if you like.

I thought it looked fine, but why not have the new decals as well if they look better?
