Re: Burstbucker 1 and 2 or 2 and 3 combo
If you are set on Burstbuckers, then I agree, one and three.

Re: Burstbucker 1 and 2 or 2 and 3 combo
i would have thought that a 1 and a 3 would have been too much of a jump???? i guess i hadnt thought of that combo. i was reading that normally people put the 1&2 or the 2&3 together.

Re: Burstbucker 1 and 2 or 2 and 3 combo
Try it, you'll like it!! Also do not assume all 3s are higher output than 2s, and all 2s are higher output than 1s. The same goes for 57 Classics and Classic Plus. There is a lot more variance than you would expect. Also try and get Burstbuckers before 2005, they switched to poly wire in 2005.

Re: Burstbucker 1 and 2 or 2 and 3 combo
i have a pair of 1's in my 02. i have a love hate relationship with them.
In the Birdge theyre very brite or pagey as my drummer calls it. and in the neck there a tad thick but plays well there for a thick blues clean tone once i dialed in the caps theyre OK with OD. im not familair with the others ones |
