Re: MXR Delay

yeah, I am looking for a low cost alternative to my BOSS DD3, I like a little delay on solo's but not enough to spend the T REX type of money and also thought this may be a good delay choice, I hope to hear from others

Re: MXR Delay

Do you have a Japanese DD3? They are a nice warm sounding unit. The later ones are a little more false sounding.

Check out the Line 6 Echo Park. Can do a nice vintage sound, and is a killer full featured pedal if you throw it in the loop.

Re: MXR Delay

Yea a buddy of mine has it. Makes it sound more like a vintage echo than a Digital Delay. Cuts the treble off on the repeats.

I think he also has a mod that allows you to effect just the repeats with a different sound, like an effects loop just for the repeats. Really cool!
