My pedal setup is FINISHED! (for now)

I ended it with purchasing the MXR EVH 117 flanger

I've worked my butt off the past year, and my evil setup is now complete muhahahahaha

I'll be building the board this weekend, and I'll take pics of my progress (another evil laugh)

Re: My pedal setup is FINISHED! (for now)

Woot! My board is coming in wednesday (decided to get one from rondomusic since it's only $30 more than me building my own AND it includes a case)!

I'm going to need help with pedal placement though.. how does this sound?

Guitar -> Wah -> Tuner -> Fuzz -> Super Comp -> TS9DX -> Metal Master -> EQ -> Phaser -> Chorus -> Flanger -> NS-2 -> Delay -> Amp

I might, however, put the flanger, chorus and phaser in the fx loop (I've put the flanger there and it sounds pretty good).

Sounds great man! Post up pics when you get the board. I scored a great pedal board today, out of a dumpster. I'm not sure what it was originally for, but its going to be a great pedal board. Found it by the WildRose brewery.

I would totally put the phase/chorus/flanger in the loop, and personally I'd put the flanger after the delay because I love that sound when the repeats are flanged.

Thats a shit load of pedals you use there man! Makes me feel like a minimalist. All I ever run is an overdrive a wah and a compressor these days.. Sometimes my DD2 in the loop.

CNB PDC-410H Huge Pedal Case at HomeOld That's my board.. should be here tomorrow.

Yea, I have a lot of pedals, and I'm probably not done yet :P

I don't gig much, but I like to have a large setup in my house for recording or just messing around... it's not like I have to spend money on rent! (for a while).

For some reason, I want a distortion pedal (maybe a DS-1 because it's cheap... or a metal muff because it's badass)... but my amp already has a lot of distortion built in (I guess I'm used to having a distortion pedal from my old amp).

But yea, I will take a bunch of pics when I'm assembling the board tomorrow!

Very reasonable chain, especially like putting time effects (delay, chorus, phaser) in the FX loop. It's fun to tinker with the effects order because there is no wrong way, really. Good luck!
