Holy Smokes Just found a Univox Super Fuzz in my collection

I was going through some stuff in my studio, actually I was looking for my Gibson Maestro boomerang and came across this old pedal thats just been sitting for the last 20 years (at least).

Figured heck I was checking on the Maestro value I might as well see what this pedal is worth these days. Holy smokes have these things surged in price since I bought it.

Guess Ill plug it in and see if the thing still works, it used to work really well if memory serves correct.

Its 230 in the am here and a pretty good start to my day : )

oh Im pretty sure I still have the label for it somewhere lol. Im sure that will effect the price but not the sound.

For sure. But you know how it is, been on the lookout for another nice old Fender Champ. I dunno its been with me a long time now I just have to use plug it in more often.

I had an '86 RAT sitting in a box for around 20 years. Excellent condition. Sold it for more than double what I paid for it new....sometimes I think maybe I should have kept it. But why keep something if you're not going to use it?

Plugged it in last night through a Carvin X100B on clean channel. Man it sounds great. Was worried that it might have static in the knobs from sitting but not one problem : )

UPDATE. Why? well Im bored darnit.

Sold the pedal on Ebay for $500.00. It went on the buy it now option. The guy contacted me after getting the pedal and was overjoyed with it. He had never played one just heard they were the sizzle.

So that makes us both very happy fellows!

I almost bought one of those back when. Got a DOD American Metal instead... Don't know what happened to that one.
