If you could have one pedal?

What would it be? I have four of them I love and not sure I could pick one. I have a version 1 OCD (#40 actually), a fulltone, fulldrive 2, and a BBpreamp...and a 73 electroharmonix small stone.

I think of them I'd probably take the fulldrive 2...but not sure...what about you?

Re: If you could have one pedal?

Analogman King of Tone. So versatile that I bought a second one - one to use as a "mostly clean" boost with the master volume amp I use with my band and a second one to use as a dirt box for home.

Keeley modded (but done by yours truly) Boss BD-2 is the one I take when I've only allowed myself one pedal. I reckon I could get away with no pedals, but I'd feel kind of naked somehow...

Re: If you could have one pedal?

This was the one I was going to post, it just does so much for the one pedal. I'm still debating between building one or buying. The 50 extra bucks is pretty much what I'd have to spend on the tools/finishing it anyway.

Re: If you could have one pedal?

I guess this question should have a condition.

For my twin reverb I'd want my BBpreamp.

For my univalve, I'd want either my delay or my small stone.

Re: If you could have one pedal?

my wah, i can get clean and distorted tones from my amp (even though the distortion is crap). i just find it more important to have variety than lots of the same thing (even if it is perfected)

Re: If you could have one pedal?

Digitech Hardwire Valve Distortion. Does everything great from low gain to high gain... Fantastic headroom, Great transparency and eternal sustain.

I don't know why I bother with other drive pedals anymore...

My Lovepedal Eternity, pretty much the only pedal I have been using for a long time now. I got one of the "magic" ones that sound amazing all the time.

The only pedal I have really ever wanted/needed and I have owned and worn out quite a few in the past 30 years.

Re: If you could have one pedal?

Just one ?? It would be this, but I sold it in the 80's like an idiot. The Morley WVO, no pots, ac power and the vol part was controlled with sideways motion on the pedal - so you had vol/fuzz/wah at the same time.

Tel-Ray Morley Page

I still have the JH-1 Crybaby from the 80's with the Bradley sealed pot.

Re: If you could have one pedal?

I'd love to have an Empress ParaEQ pedal if I could only have ONE! But if it's out of the pedals I have already... Probably my Fulltone Catalyst. Just love how it sounds... =3

My Fulldrive2. It's like two pedals in one both. Or the Rockbox Boiling Point.
