808 hw
I've got an Ibanez 808 HW on the way, should be here tomorrow. Bad thing is I'm going out of town in the morning for 3 day's. Oh well, it'll be here when I get back. Does anybody care to share their thoughts on this thing? I don't use screamers on stage, I use a Digitech GSP 1101, but I have tons of pedals and just had to add this to the collection. All my screamers, TS9 +, 83 TS9, 808 have been modded with the Keeley upgrade chips and other mods. I'll do my own A-B ing thing Sunday or Monday.

Re: 808 hw
Well I got to try my new 808 HW Sunday and I am impressed. I tried it through a Hot Rod Deluxe, Blackheart 5W/3W, and Krank Rev Jr. It sounded great through all of them. I compared the HW with an 808 reissue, 80's TS9, TS9+, and an Ibanez Super Tube (great screamer from the 80's). Nothing sounded bad here but the HW did sound warmer or just better to me. Oh well, I had fun and will probably do it again to check my ears.

Re: 808 hw
I have the HW 808. I also have a lot of pedals and I would say this pedal is the best in the TS category. I like my Tim a lot because it doesn't color my tone, but for that mid-hump grit, I like the HW 808.
