If I recall correctly, the case is plastic and its not true bypass. That being said it does have crazy gain. I checked it out but found that the pedal seemed a cheaply put together. For your sake I hope everything works out.

I just got it, but will test after dinner. It is not cheaply put together. The thing weighs and ton and is solid metal, like a tank!

Yea, I'm not sure, but I think I remember someone telling me that if you step on this pedal it's like a landmine and it will blow your whole leg off. Not sure about that but I might have heard it somewhere, maybe. Hope it works out for ya!
