boosts their guitar? How do you do it: What do you use and when? Or, like me, do you just use a wah pedal or nothing? Let's hear it!

I don't boost, but when I had a wah pedal, I used it sorta used it like a clean boost sometimes. I don't like putting any kind of boost or OD pedal between my guitar and amp unless I'm playing at low volumes and need it to sound good.

I hear ya! Also, my wah is true bypass, so it doesn't affect tone. I also use a ISP Decimator so that cleans the tone up without changing it. BEST NOISE GATE, btw.

i run a danelectro cool cat drive set so when i back my guitar volume off, my tone clears up.
