Question Marshall The Guv'nor

Any love and hate on this pedal?
Is that true that this pedal will only get along with vintage Marshall amp (JCM800 and JMP)? and suck on other newer Marshall and brand?
Never see anyone selling it, how much are these?

People clone them all the time. It's a great pedal!

Re: Marshall The Guv'nor

I read somewhere JMP or JCM800 with this pedal in front will be the same as a Jubilee (tonewise), is that true or just rumor?

Re: Marshall The Guv'nor

great pedal- the new editions are OK too. The shredmaster is better though. I borrowed one for a while but prefered my bluesdriver for my fender. Did sound better through a marshall but see no reason why shouldn't sound good on a new amp.

Re: Marshall The Guv'nor

I have a Guv'nor and use it with my newer Marshall amp. I think it's great.
