Just Got on the TIMMY List !!!

Hey MLP ... Not sure if any of you know about the great pedals that Paul Cochrane makes ??? He makes 2 absolutely killer dirt boxes in the Tim & the Timmy !!! I just got on the waiting list for a Timmy which is just an overdrive while the Tim is an OD & a boost !!! Any here have a Tim or Timmy ??? These are very reasonably priced pedals for boutique OD's !!!

Both pedals have about the same OD section ... But the Tim has a boost function too !!!

TGP has a very good effects section over there !!! It's where I learned about lots of boutique effects makers like Bill Finnegan from Klon !!! I wish MLP had more pedal heads !!!

yeah Bobbo, I check the MLP Pedals forum page often and wish there were more posts in here.. I go to TGP for my pedal fix, there are a ton of people there who are really into pedals.

I'm going to stack the Timmy with my Klon ... I thought about getting the Tim for the boost mode but I can't imagine it could be better than my Klon !!!

Well , If people keep contributing to the effects section it will get better soon !!!

A Timmy with a Klon.. though I haven't tried both, after countless reads on them I can't see anything wrong with that setup!

Although did you hear the debate about the new Danelectro Transparent OD being a Timmy clone?

, one thing I've noticed in MLP is that people have a love/hate relation with pedals. Some say pedals are for people who can play for s-*t, and others love the tone options you can get of of them.

I'm in the second group, an absolute pedal addict, there is no way I can walk into a store without trying out new boxes and leaving without purchasing one.

I'm in the second group as well but I wish I had the money to walk in and out with a pedal everytime I go into a store!

you'll be surprised by some sounds you can find in ugly aluminum boxes, just not Danalectro's (which are by the way plastic

But I contradict myself as well, I've been wanting to buy one to try but I've been indecisive. Well it does look ugly and the shape is just too funky (although I do own and love the Fab Chorus). Rehouse anyone?

Yeah saw that and I agree it didn't sound the same with the Timmy sounding much smoother but its close. But for a $40 pedal, I think its doing well on its own.
