Dunlop 565Q

Does anybody use the overdrive function of their wah pedal(with the pedal kept pressed down)as a substitute for a genuine overdrive pedal and if so what do you make of its capability? My pedal is on loan to a friend and he had this question for me this evening. I did not have an answer

No, I prefer overdrive from my tube amps and or dedicated OD/Dist/Boost pedals....

( I've never even tried out that function on my wahs...)....
