As usual, I always check out the pedal boards of other guitar players in other bands when I am out and about. Last night, I saw one of the coolest pedal mods I've seen in a while.

I saw what looked like a modded crybaby, so having just modded mine, I asked the guy what he had done to it. Turns out, it wasn't a wah at all, it was an old ibanez ad9 delay rehoused in a crybaby pedal. The knobs were on the side of the housing, and they had wired the pot on the treadle to as the feedback knob, allowing him to change the setting on the fly in the middle of a song. It sounded pretty damn good.

I should have snapped a picture, but I didn't think about it. We'll probably play with this band again, so I'll try to get a pic then.

Anyway, what kind of cool or wicked pedal mods have you guys had or seen through the years? Post pics if you have them.

my crybaby is modded to the point where its no longer a wah wah.... its a "woh-woh" ... ive gotten it so vocal sounding that its pretty comical lol

i did a number of mods on it years ago, honestly i dont remember everything i did to it....
