Price For Used MXR GT-OD?

I have an MXR GT-OD overdrive pedal that I am looking to sell. It is a really nice pedal but just isn't exactly what I am looking for so I am planning to sell it along and will then grab an MXR Distortion III to see if that suits my needs better (if not, I'll sell that along and grab something else and so on, and so on, until I find the pedal that gives me what I am looking for).

Problem is, I have no idea what a GT-OD should go for used. So does anyone have any idea what price I should ask for this pedal? It is in excellent condition and has no velcro on it.

PGS is selling it for $84, a couple of others have it at $99.

I see. Well he said its in excellent condition, so maybe $60-75?

Sorry to return late to this thread - it sells for about $95 new around here.

Have you tried flicking the internal switch to see if you like the other mode?

I had heard about that but hadn't tried it.

I posted the pedal at a higher price than I expected to get for it so that people could talk me down a bit (CL seems to be full of ridiculous lowballers lately so I figured I should be prepared for them).

Some guy contacted me and bought it at that price ($70) on the condition that I ship it to his business address about 1 1/2 hours north of here. That got my scam radar going but he quickly sent me an email money transfer for the price of the pedal and the agreed shipping cost so I mailed it to him late yesterday afternoon (not sure if you folks can make email money transfers in the US but here in Canada we can do so as long as the person is signed up for electronic banking at another Canadian bank - on the 'Guitars Canada' forum this is the preferred method of payment for used stuff).

Turns out he wanted it shipped to his business because he is married and is hiding gear purchases from his wife. I am sure plenty of people here can understand that!
