What pedals do you use?

I use the following:

1.) Boss Chromatic Tuner (TU-2)
2.) Dunlop Slash Wah (SW95)
3.) Boss Super Overdrive (SD-1)
4.) Boss Super Chorus (CH-1)
5.) Boss Digital Delay (DD-3)

In the order:

Guitar > TU-2 > SW95 > SD-1 > CH-1 > DD-3 > Amp

Will post a pic later.

My stuff:

Mesa/Boogie 50/50 power amp
ADA MP-1 Preamp
Alesis Quadraverb

Plus a ProCo Rat distortion. I love this pedal! Bought it in 1985. It's built to last through several nuclear wars.

Just get one, It'll make you happy.

Teese RMC-3 wah, Sweetsound Ultra Vibe, Heil talkbox, MXR Phase 90, DOD BiFet, Maxon TS-9 reissue, Korg pedal tuner, Danelectro octave, Boss chorus, and a malfunctioning plastic-case MXR flanger that sounds like an oscillating scream from a 3 year old.

I need to get a few delay pedals to round it all out.

I've only used a few pedals, kind of a straight into the amp kind of guy, but I've used a Boss Chorus, a crappy Soundtank delay, couple of forgettable distortion/overdrives. Mainstay is my Hendrix crybaby wah, and my very recently replaced Tube Works Real Tube pedal into my Deluxe Reverb. Great blues tones with that. I don't use anything with the line6 except the Wah. Keep thinking I need to expiriment more, but I never get around to it.

It always worked for AC/DC, that's always the benchmark for me. Of course they don't have to play at apartment volume levels either, they can crank there stuff up as high as they want, so there you go.

Re: What pedals do you use?

I never used much in the way of effects, mostly because I was too broke to afford them LOL...

I recently became a PODXT Live convert, and so I'm enjoying trying out the approximations of the various effects. It's one of the real unstated, or at least understated, benefits of modeling rigs. You can at least figure out, in big generic terms, what kind of sounds you're looking for, then maybe go buy the real deal.

Re: What pedals do you use?

I prefer to plug straight in, but the Boss GT-8 can do anything else needed. As long as you have time to learn it!

Re: What pedals do you use?

I'm putting together a small pedal board right now on a Pedaltrain Jr with my own mod to mount the Pedal Power 2 Plus under it. On the top are a

Mojo Vibe (as soon as it gets back from Bob Sweet, he doind a vintage tweek to it), MXR MC401 boost (great clean boost), OCD vers 3, Boss low Z volume pedal, (tuner out into a TU-15), a Tone Blue modded SCH-Z (cool chorus/vibe), then a Line 6 Echo Park.

This thing sounds good and it's small and light.

Re: What pedals do you use?

I use a Dunlop crybaby wah wah. Recently got a Vox wah, but just didn't like it as much. I also use a Dunlop rotovibe, which I LOVE, but tend to use far more at home than out.

I've had various distortion boxes, big muff fuzz, Marshall bluesbreaker etc, but just don't use these so much anymore

You can never be without wah wah though!
