Been wanting one theses myself.I have a couple of Sean's pedals....COT-50,Amp 11. Very nice Brother!

No, you can also connect it to a 9v or 18v power supply.

Yea, Sean is making really great pedals. BTW.....I want to get a hold of a COT-50. That is one pedal I want.

I have a COT-50 that Sean made in early '07. Its super-light weight,it was a design he had made for Michael Katon.I have another,albeit,heavier COT that has a different character. They seem to be hard to come by these days.If I decide to lighten my board,you'll be the first to know.

Yea, I was pleasantly surprised when I first herd this purple plexi pedal. This box will make any amp sound like a vintage marshall plexi.

I had two of the handwired PP's. The first one sounded quite good and the second, not as much.

I didn't get a Plexi vibe from them at all (they're far raspier than Plexis). Much more like a JCM800, IMO.

Ok, by now, you should have time to play it. How do you like it? What kind of amp are you running through it, and what settings? Is it best to run it through a "clean" channel? Or does it matter?

Sorry for all the questions, but I was just turned on to the PP by a friend. He says, in his opinion, that the 100 is the best sounding one that he's heard. And by what I've read on the web, there's been nothing but praise for it. So, it's really got me curious as to what a real user thinks of it. Afterwards, I may have to get one for my new board! LOL

I must say.... That did sound a LOT like my 800, and believe me, that's NOT an insult.

But I don't play P90's (yet), so it's hard to say. Plus, I run my 800 with the preamp down around 2-3 and run the MV wherever I can get with. Whatever it does sound like, it sounds amazing! Is that into a clean amp? Was that all pedal, or does the amp show through it?

Very nice!!! I agree the PP is more in the 800 vain. His COT50 sounds more Plexi like to me.
