Re: Your Effects Pedalboard !!! Pics !!!
Hey Vast.. Is that one 9v PSU to power all those pedals? If so where do you get the cable with all the plugs?

However, that was when I was younger, had what seemed to be endless time/energy, and was playing in a band. Now at 56, not so much time and energy. As I write this, my wife thinks I am getting ready to go out to dinner and is wondering what is taking me so long... If you look at my post's in this thread; "More Stuff" (attached images) and "The Dust Gives the Board a Vintage Sound" (attached images), you can see a photo of the last (and current) pedal board I made and probably will ever make again by hand - and it is not very fancy as well. I have enjoyed making my own boards, the various lay-outs, making modifications, solving practical problems (e.g., where to install the power strip the most effeciently, etc.) over the years. And of course, painting them black. Maybe the best part has been painting them black. The sense of accomplishment in my limited building/designing skills has also been rewarding. Recently, I bought a 1974X for jam sessions rather than "lugging" my stack, large pedal board and rackmounted unit, and am in the process of setting-up a second, simpler (i.e., Seymour Duncan pickup booster, Dean Markley tuner, Marshall Reflector reverb, Fulltone Catalyst, MXR smart gate, and MXR Carbon Copy analog delay) board which is "prefab" (not as in before The Beatles) with built in power and line conditioner to "carry" instead – see below link. In other words, leave the "big grunt stuff" at home and just carry a combo, a guitar, and a bare bones board in its tote bag and not have my back thrown out and be too crippled–up to play. And to think, at times, I used three 100w Marshall stacks (by the way, it was still not loud enough - for me it never is - hmm...) This may explain my tinnitus. So, given a choice between a sense of accomplishment or buying something off the shelf, I am opting for having someone show me which aisle - and having them get it down from the self. I hope when you weigh your time, energy, budget, sense of pride and accomplishment, and its "true cost" based on your current level of need, you will make the wisest choice for you... Look forward to what you come up with and good luck! Furman SPB-8 | Sweetwater.com

Re: Your Effects Pedalboard !!! Pics !!!
That Furman board you linked looks about like this SKB ps-45 I've got. Badge engineering?
Anyway, I'm pretty satisfied with it; delivers a lot of power options, let's you carry a bunch of pedals, supports stereo output, and at least limits how many pedals I can have on there at once.

Re: Your Effects Pedalboard !!! Pics !!!
Here's mine. It's a top off of my kids play table that was in the Attic which I forgot about until I started ready this thread. Over the summer I'm going to add an input/out jack and organize the wires underneath.

Re: Your Effects Pedalboard !!! Pics !!!
Right now my pedalboard looks like this:
![]() ![]() I've been going for more of an amp tone lately, so the distortion pedals have been neglected, although I could see myself going for a nice overdrive pedal in the future. I've got a Marshall Echohead in my Egnater's effect loop for a little space, but that's about it.

Re: Your Effects Pedalboard !!! Pics !!!
Here's mine. I'll specify each pedal so there's no confusion.
![]() ![]() The wah's a crybaby, the red digitech pedal is their Brian May model, it's a very fine pedal, the 3-button doohickey is the controller for the digitech, the EH little big muff speaks for itself, BOSS OS-2, then a cheap but great behringer phaser

Re: Your Effects Pedalboard !!! Pics !!!
Hey Brett, look at my thread in thissection if your looking for a board, I am going to custom make them to your order and they will be a lot cheaper than the
Pedal Train's and all.
