EH V256 or other Vocoder Pedal
Hey everyone,
Does anybody have experience with the Electro Harmonix V256 vocoder pedal? They look pretty cool and suit my live situation more than a talk box. Has anyone ever used one of these or any other vocoder guitar pedal? I'm interested in the other possibilities as well. |

Re: EH V256 or other Vocoder Pedal
Well, technically it's not even a guitar pedal, since you can use any instrument with it. The description for both devices doesn't even use the term "guitar."
This is primarily meant as a vocal effect rather than a guitar or instrument effect in any event. The instrument only provides pitch control rather than contributing to the tone of the effect.
