AC Adaptor for Vox Wah?
I was gifted a Vox V848 wah pedal from a friend who doesn't really play anymore. I'd rather run the thing off a wall wart adaptor than chew through batteries.
Any special advice worth knowing about adaptor to get, or is this one of those cases where there's not much point to paying more than you have to, a 9V adaptors are basically the same. |

Re: AC Adaptor for Vox Wah?
I have the same issue. I have a limited edition 847G and never understood why no A/C adapter. The other issue I have is that I pick up all kinds of RFI with it.

Re: AC Adaptor for Vox Wah?
The hook up seems to be standard (fortunately). I always hated when different companies that make similar things used to all have their own "proprietary" nonsense. As a tech, the first thing I always wanted to do, was start gutting and replacing the nonstandard "only our shit sill fit" connectors and plugs.
Now I use Boss adapters. 9 Volts DC, 500 mA, works like a champ. I used to make my own power supplies but the parts prices and availability doesn't seem to be what it once was.
