Re: Rinkya.com shipping

You could try jauce.com. Or depending on what you want to buy, some retailers ship directly to international customers (that'll be way cheaper anyway). It's a minority, but they're there.

No, you just want to live closer to Japan. Here in the States we pay $200
shipping from Japan + about $100 in assorted fees from everybody. Combined with the suck dollar rate we are buying $500 used guitars from japan and paying $900 for them.

Re: Rinkya.com shipping

Does Jauce ship to UAE? If so, load up your paypal with funds (I'm assuming you can use a credit card to put money into a paypal account) and start buying.

Otherwise you're going to have use ebay, or buy from a forum. There is quite a few guitar forums.

Re: Rinkya.com shipping

rinkya.com is stupidly funny cause they include middle east and some other countries in the drop down menu when signing up ( for billing address) and when i got in contact with one of them they said they dont ship to indonesia middle east and some other countries

That makes no sense Rinkya fanboy but they still suck and their selective destinations is clearly another reason why

Re: Rinkya.com shipping

Contact them via their live chat man.
I can ask Scott for you and see what the scoop is.
Not a fanboy, I just have never had any issues that the few others have spoken of regarding Rinkya.
I use em for higher priced items and JAC for the lower priced stuff even though JAC comes out to near the same after the Pay Pal deposit fee, commission, 800 yen fee, 300 yen transaction fee, plus local shipping.
JAC is slightly less for shipping (about $40 on average) but Rinkya, regardless of the popcorn foam, packs better IMO with nice secure neck supports for set necked guitars and they take the necks off of bolt ons to reduce shipping and increase safety.
Plus they give you a heads up with pics if the item arrives differently than described in the auction photos and ask if you would like them to contact the seller for a return/refund.
Something JAC does not do and if you want pics JAC charges you for them.

Nice sales pitch fanboy but they still suck
even I've shipped to the uae
Ask em for help on their ridiculous fees too since they have no trouble asking people to help them.

Re: Rinkya.com shipping

Ignore Slap...he is banned from Rinkya plus a few others (and almost JAC too) hence why he is so bitter but those gripes of his are just 1/2 of the story.

I will ask Scott now for ya man.

Re: Rinkya.com shipping

Well, I'll say this, I asked Rinkya at least three times to cancel my account, and I never got a reply from them. So to this day they have a $5,000 limit on my credit card with no communication from them. Yes, I can go to my bank, but why should I have to, and what's their excuse for not replying? My communications weren't in any way abusive either. They're not an honest business in my book.

I would disagree with that. I see plenty of nice Tokai's and Burny's ect sell, shipped ect to her for under $700

Maybe someone on here might have what ya want. If you are friendly and trust someone on here, maybe ship it to them then have them ship to you?

Re: Rinkya.com shipping

I signed up for both last year and ended up using Jauce. I had no problem with Jauce, communication was good, packing on the shipped guitar was good and I'd use them again.

At that time when I decided to go with Jauce I asked Rinkya to close my account and they did within 2 days.

This time around I found myself using the Rinkya website much more. I had questions for the Japanese sellers and I found their "ask seller" service very useful. I bought through them 2 weeks ago and when the guitar arrived at their warehouse, Scott sent me several pictures of what looked like cracked binding and cracks in the side of the neck. That area of the guitar was not shown in the sellers listing photos. As a result of that service, I managed to return the guitar and recoup my money.

At this time, I'm sticking with Rinkya until they give me a reason to switch.

Scott replied.
As long as the user has been reviewed and the address confirmed then shipping to UAE might be possible.

Well I asked for you and it seems you did not tell us the "entire" truth now did you?
From what I gather you asked about UAE then followed to ask if it was Ok to ship to Dubai, then Abu Dhabi, then India, then Mumbai...
Where exactly do you live then?
Seems a little shady from a business stand point to me so I can understand her answer.
