Re: Agiles!

AD2300. Sounds good with a slide. I need to have it setup and get new pots and caps put in it.

Here's a little demo I made today.

Brian, that's an awesome axe! Nice amp too, I have the same one! How do you like the Agile? Any mods that "must" be made?

Do a search on AGILE and you will find your answer They a lot of times superior to the Epiphones and cost you less. The AL3X00's are better than Epi's and from what I have read because I never owned a AL2X00 series that they are on par or better than Epi's.

I have no doubt they are better than the Epi's. I am looking at a couple on the 'bay right now. For that quality at that price, you can't beat it!

Re: Agiles!

You really can't beat them for the price, a buddy of mine from work came over the other night, he had been tooting is own horn about his Gibby BFG. He got kinda quiet after playing my Agile for a bit.

IMO, They really don't need anything changed stock. Maybe pickups if your not into their tone, but for most rock/blues applications I think they're just fine.

I think I'm gonna gig with mine either Wednesday or for one of my Saturday shows. (Got 2 of 'em). I'll probably play it for at least a set...

Re: Agiles!

ThinLizzy, that's one schmexy guitar. I'dve done that to one if they sold the P90-version in more colors; I'm not terribly fond of the cherry burst mahself. Instead I placed an order for an AL-2000 in Rootbeer today. Also ordered a pair of GFS Mean 90 pickups from Guitarfetish.com, it'll be a rocking machine once it arrives. <3

Re: Agiles!

Yeah those are GFS minibuckers in mine (and they scream!). To me, the AL-2000's are the best deal around. $220 for the guitar and $70 for the pickups and I've got a nice backup to my Heritage.
