Re: ObG LPR vs. Gibson Historic R8: decisions, decisions...
I recognise the gravel background anywhere Lesterious
hehe.Hope you keep it forever ![]() Its one of those oddities where the "lesser" brand is capable of matching it with the "heavyweight" parent brand. I long for a 59R OBG as well...although I could....hmmm.........refinish the 57C goldtop into a plaintop les paul standard. I agree, the fretedge bindings are cosmetic...but I don't feel complete without them hahahahaha......its all part of the history of the Les Paul. i got to have em! If you are looking for another OBG reissue keep ur eyes peeled on www.digimart.net, you can find great OBGs from time to time. There's been a few interesting OBGs that have popped up in the 2 months. The stuff u can find there is amazing.

OBG black beauty reissue and Navigator NLP 300 CTM
Hi How's that Navigator NLP 300 black custom guitar tone wise compared to Gibsons Custom? I'm getting a good deal on one but that has a weird shape of headstock. How much did you pay for it. Thanks Vaibhav ( India )

How's the tone of Navigator N-LP 300 compared to Gibson LP standard and customs ? I'm planning to buy one which has a carved Mahogany tone but that's the only issue. Please suggest.
