Ok I got authorization to say from Will Boggs that he has been in contact with Chet & Slash. Will is working with them to get Slash and the Hunterburst in the same room soon

What are the electronics in this guitar? (pots and caps)

I'm sure the replica builders weren't using Gibson products...

As a newb to the forum, I'd like to thank all parties involved for entertaining the amateur rock and roll sociologist/historian/tall tale gatherer in me.

As far as "lost guitar hero" goes, the guy I saw playing with Lou Reed was in NO WAY ready to be relegated to the pages of history. Stunning display of chops and empathy for his employer and his tunes.

After seeing the John Mayer/Slash fiasco with ZZ Top, I think it would be much more musically interesting to re-unite the thing with Hunter. Then again, I'm a geezer.

(Was kinda bummed with the way the R-whatever loaded with Sheptones sounded.)
