Help needed ASAP with this Tokai Les Paul

I need help ASAP! I am planning to pull the trigger on this Tokai Les Paul. How much should I go for this? Is $400 Canadian reasonable? It's in mint condition and played just once for music lessons.

Is it being sold with the case?

Its Korean or Chinese, 400CAD works out about £215 with case, i would say yes that would be reasonable.

Those are no better than Epis, at that quality level.

So I should back out? I'm choosing between this and your pickups, Greg.

Agreed, although 400CAD for the guitar and case isn't too shabby, imho. I think they retail for about 550-600 new without the case.

Arrghhhh.... This is tough... I need to make a decision real quick. The seller said if I take it by tomorrow and pay cash, he could give it to me for 340CAD.

Re: Help needed ASAP with this Tokai Les Paul

One more thing worth noting, i just remembered this... There are(it seems) a good few fake Tokais' doing the rounds in Canada apparently due to a Canadian distributor making unlicensed Tokais' with different woods excetera... With that in mind i would be hesitant, especially if he's prepared to let it go for 340. Your decision.

Re: Help needed ASAP with this Tokai Les Paul

Why the "angle" shots? Is he skeered to show what it looks like straight on? With a Tokai, a headstock shot is mandatory.

The color looks weird. That could be "digital camera" effect. tho.

Looks fishy. Slow down, pal.

Yeah. I probably should look at it first and take photos myself to post in this forum.
