NGD....Tokai 40th Anniversary Les Paul Model..MIJ.
Well..i got this in a trade and got to say it's one hell of a cool cat. Model is called LS1000, only 100 made and this one is no# 23 of the lot. I changed the pups right away for a special set of Jon Moore i had in stock..slightly higher output on the bridge for my style of Music.
Neck is between a 59 and a 60's profile..VERY comfortable i most say in my hands. One piece back, long tenon and nitro finish as well. Strangely the thing that I was suprised was the quality of the electronics...AND..it comes with a VERY nice looking special edition hard case as well. I just simply can't put her down..

Hmmm, 40th anniversary Les Paul in 2007 suggests there were at least a few Tokai
"Les Paul model" examples produced in 1977, despite assurances there weren't, from a few Tokai staff. Maybe they were produced in 1977 and serialized and sold in 1978 ?  Congrats on your new Tokai al3d ! Last edited by reborn old; 03-26-2012 at 07:16 AM. |

Tokai was born in 1947, obviously they didnīt make electric guitars but spanish, pianicas and pianos.They started to craft electric guitars about 1.967 , some kind of Mosrites called Humminbirds.
