Hi everyone, just passed to show a project I will be working on (shortly I hope).
And I would like opinions on it. The bullseye is actually planed to be a vinyl from "guitarraps", they are pretty good, so I wont be refinishing. Re: Vintage V100MRJB "Golden Age" Project
I know, its a crime!
I'm a Bonamassa fan myself. I want to do it on a distressed GT, (one with some good quality). If you have any alternatives (around the same value), be my guest to post. That's why I opened the thread. I heard some nasty stuff about the V100s fret wire, how are they these days? Sorry for Double-Post |

Re: Vintage V100MRJB "Golden Age" Project
Don't know about longevity - I've only had my V100 for a week, but I can tell you the frets are nicely finished - no sharp edges at all. Could be because my skin's harder than the fretwire...
... but I doubt it. It seems a very solid, well-built LP type guitar, beautifully playable and with extremely good tone - plenty of PAF warmth, clarity and growl when needed.
