Re: The MIJ Classifieds: please read the rules before posting...

Speaking of ads that got buried

Here is a little more info on the Bacchus Classic I have for sale...

2011 Bacchus Classic (BLP-STD-CS)

Comes with original hang tags and warranty card in it's original deluxe form padded gig bag. The gig bag is really nice and has padded side walls and the stitched Baccus logo on the pocket. The guitar itself is almost brand new. It's been played maybe a total of 10-15 hours since I bought it. The neck is a thick '58 Les Paul profile. The stock pickups are very expressive and have a nice vintage vibe. The solid plaintop has some nice figuring in different light and some light mineral streaking too. This is guitar 36 in the production line from this year. Long neck tenon (if you care about those things) and paint shielded cavities. Switchcraft Toggle, pots are CTS with PIO caps. This guitar feels incredibly solid and is very well built. It's kicks the crap out of any production line LP I have played including anything by the big G. PM me for more details. $1200 shipped to the US (a little more for international).

And there she is folks.
You should be able to get 1800-2400 or there about for that IMO considering what 1200's go for with a veneer and all.
Not to mention how scarce those models are

Not the best back shots, but the only ones I have. We never really were too concerned about it. Good luck with the sale Mono, it is a hell of a guitar.

I prefer these:

Marcus, no need to run off just because someone is giving you grief over a stove.
It's a tough crowd here, as I have learned over the past year; where's your thick skin bro?

Bought this from Rinkya a while ago. It needs a bit of work that I haven't got the time or cash to address at the moment so I'm hoping to sell to treat myself to some Christmas goodies

It's a 1983 mint collection with all the usual stuff, fret edge binding, long tenon etc. All original, wiring and solders untouched. Not sure what the board is made of but it is a very dark chocolate brown and smells nice unlike the usual rosewood. Some chips on the top of the headstock (pictured), one small 'depression' on the back of the neck which I can't get to show on camera. Couple of small chips on the back of the guitar but overall very clean. Tuners work great and the guitar stays in tune very nicely, other hardware is heavy and good quality. Truss rod turns fine.

Some grooves worn into the first 5 frets which definitely need to be levelled, the guitar plays fine as it is but with a higher than desired action so please bear that in mind that a fret level and setup is needed.

Pickups are Screamin 1982. Neck pickup sounded weird when it arrived and I tried a magnet swap to try to fix it but in doing so seemed to make it worse. It sounds like it has a dead coil. I tried the traditional fix with nail varnish but no joy, so assume the neck pup is dead. Bridge pup is fine but I would suggest a new set of pups as playing the guitar acoustically you can tell there is superb tone and sustain in the guitar but you need some decent pickups to bring it out. I've removed the pup covers but they will be shipped with the guitar.

I would like a UK sale if possible as I have no experience of international shipping and because due to our sky high import charges this will be good value to a UK buyer but probably not to other countries. I'm selling as cheap as I can for you forum guys as I've has some great deals here and I know that whoever buys this will have to spend a few quid on it, unless they already have some spare pups and don't mind doing a few things themselves

£475 as a paypal gift plus £25 postage (I'll use all the Rinkya stuff it came in so will be very safe) - so £500 total for a UK buyer to land an 80's classic LP with build quality that would make the Big G blush. Any questions, picture requests etc please do mail me or post here.
REDUCTION TIME

Looks like I'm going to have to live with a little loss in the current climate. Reduced to £425 posted in the UK. I will post abroad now for £400 plus the cost of your preferred method of shipping. I will also consider a swap plus cash my way for something telecaster shaped

Probably a stupid question for an LS 320 but are they real shell position inlays?
Nice looking fret edge nibs.

Re: The MIJ Classifieds: please read the rules before posting...

Tokai calls the inlays for the production 320s 'ambercell' .......... like on my 2000 LS-320

I believe they are cellulose, hence the cell in ambercell but then I could B wrong

villager's inlays look a bit lighter in color, at least to my eyes
