Re: MIJ Classifieds thread
WANT TO BUY: old Greco pickup rings (the ones that are practically yellow, from the Mint Collection period). I know it's unlikely that anyone has them spare, but you don't get if you don't ask

In search of the white V part three!

Re: MIJ Classifieds thread
Thomas, I prefer the look of the block inlays and white headstock on the Edwards. I also dig the exposed bobbins on the Edwards and the knobs look better. On looks alone, I say get the Edwards. And since I just got a beautiful new Edwards PM from Wulf, I give them two thumbs up!

Re: MIJ Classifieds thread
as you know the neck and bridge pickup rings are different (the neck being original Greco MC yellow, the bridge more pale)
the rings you sent me fit the holes fine, but look seriously out of place if i choose to have the original MC pickguard riding up against them so my only hope is finding a yellow MC bridge pickup ring (ie. very slim )

Re: MIJ Classifieds thread
With a recent Tokai Goldtop purchase and an R8 I have to let a couple more guitars go.
Here are 2 Bacchus “Vintage” models that will be moving on. I love this brand and would love to hang on to these but I will be keeping my recent Classic LP and SG Bacchus. ![]() SOLD: Bacchus “Live Road” BLS-120. I don’t believe that this is a BLS-90 as it has a serial number that places it in later production. -2 piece center matched back. - Light wear on the front/back - Aluminum tailpiece. - Original padded Bacchus gigbag of very high quality Bacchus BLV-58. - One-piece neck with 2-pc back. Mahogany. - 2 noticeable body dents/chips - Generic nylon gig-bag I am looking for the equivalent of $800 US for the flying V, shipping to Canada/US/Australia included. More pictures will be going up this weekend. Last edited by wulfman; 05-25-2011 at 10:29 PM. |

Amazing deals on both of those Wulf! Where's Thomas? Buy that sucker...forget the white V! The 120 is beautiful too. Somebody snap these up.

Re: MIJ Classifieds thread
At least lacquer top coat from what I have read, though there is not that much information on specs since they produce guitars in small batches and vary things from batch to batch. VintageJIM probably would know from his experience.
