Re: MIJ Classifieds thread
Tried selling this 2000 MIJ epi goldtop on the bay in Aus for $710 + shipping which is what it cost me from Japan inc shipping and fee's.
Due to lack of knowledge from buyers in Aus I think they'd rather pay 1000+ for a gibby studio ![]() So i'll offer it here for $750 shipped within Aus and I'll throw in a hardcase. Or if your an interested buyer from elsewhere then $700 plus shipping with hardcase. Pm if interested Cheers. Mij epi gt - a set on Flickr |

Re: MIJ Classifieds thread
Is that crack into the wood at the headstock joint?
And is that a chunk of metal stuck in the back of the neck? (yes, I know its got a 2 piece heel - not bidding, just curious)

Re: MIJ Classifieds thread
The yj listing says something about "lines around" the back of the neck.
"There are lines that wound around the back of the nut. 目視では塗装のみと思われ、木部にまでは達していないように思います。 The only visual is expected to paint until the wood has not been reached it seems." Looks like a finish crack. Looks like a solid top burst, but I could be wrong. Should be a good $800-900 for someone, loaded up with Screamin's. |

Re: MIJ Classifieds thread
I've got a Elitist goldtop with a RS Guitarworks Premium Modern Wiring Kit installed and a WCR Crossroads/Darkburst set and I love it-definitely a keeper.I'm adding a Faber Tone-Lock bridge and aluminum tail piece with locking studs then I figure I will be done.Sounds fantastic now so I can only assume after these last mod's it might be even a little better.Best of luck "JDP" with your sale.

Re: MIJ Classifieds thread
Well, it looks like i gotta put another one on the chopping block. this time it's my wonderful Tokai made M'seeker let's play model. this guitar is a 1995 as far as i can tell by the pot codes, is identical in construction to the tokai ls75q i had, and by the specs it would be a ls60 if it had tokai on the headstock. it is a lightweight very resonant les paul at 8 lbs 12oz. solid 2 piece top, 3 piece back, and has a fat c neck, gotoh tunomatic bridge to replace the sagging oem one. I upgraded the truss rod cover to a gibson historic, replaced the gotoh mk 2 pafs with gfs alnico 2's, upgraded the caps to cornell dubilier "greenies" .018uf. new archtop hardshell case. it has some chips (thanks rinkya) and scratches, but nothing major and no breaks, or issues. a solid, wonderful playing and sounding les paul, that has a great tone. $750 shipped/paypal gift or +3% fee with upgrades and case, or $625 shipped/paypal gift or +3% fee without upgrades and japanese canvas gig bag. PM for more info or pics. Thanks! ryan

Re: MIJ Classifieds thread
Good point James. Will do that now. I've been trying to decide for ages which ObG I was going to keep, the 57 or 59...both sound fantastic but he 59 has a bit more edge, which suites my style more than the smoother sounding 57.

Re: MIJ Classifieds thread
Haha get a smaller dog, best choice as your dog is used to you two only
If you get one of equal size, there might be some jealousy issues which can get ugly. If the 2nd new dog is smaller the 1st dog tends to not feel threatened. |
