but yeah, should be interesting!! there's a lot of Les Paul love here in the UK but we are all very tight with our money so...

I am always open to the discussion. Greco has the EG-700 listed as a solid top in their 1982 Catalog. I personally havent seen otherwise. Josh

I'm watching a couple of those, but my budget is £500 so I'm not sure I've got much chance

I'm especially keen on the Slash-looking one with the EMG PUPs.

I was actually looking at getting a new (ie MIC) RLG60-SL but after browsing these forums for the last couple of days I'm thinking a second-hand MIJ might be a better bet.

No, it doesn't look that way. I have a few strats to sort out next and those are even cheaper to send so stay tuned. Can I post MIJ strats here for sale or are we all exclusively about MIJ LPs here?

WTB: Matched pair of 1978-1981 Greco-Maxon pickups.
Prefer PU-2's (from EG-800 or EGF-850 models), but will consider U series or UD pups as well. Not interested in Dry Z's or 1982+ Greco Mint series pups.
