Re: MIJ Classifieds thread
I really hate to sell this beautiful Les Paul. It weighs in at 8.5 lbs. without the pickguard (on my local UPS store licensed scale). It's all original with factory paperwork included. The pickguard still has the circular factory "laquer" sticker on it. I will also include the original Tokai trussrod cover, but the Gibson style is free with purchase. I'm removing the straplocks. Original hard case included. This guitar is in excellent condition and plays super. $1350 USD shipped within the USA.
Here's the link to my photo album. If you see anything else you like, make me an offer. I might say no, but if the price if right.... https://picasaweb.google.com/krfrieh...CPGDoKG7_velMA

Re: MIJ Classifieds thread
Yes he did but he also just got an amazing Burny to take it's place. There should be a few people here interested in that Greco. New pickups and she is ready to roll!
I actually like the gold paint on the Greco better (the Burny gold is a little more green) but the Burny models are just so hard to top. |

Re: MIJ Classifieds thread
SLAPSHOT- i see you,ve got a Burny Rock,n,Roll junior as your avatar, well i have the same guitar and basically the neck on the FLG is not quite as chunky as this (but close)but a little fatter than my mid 80s Supergrade. Right in the middle of the 2 necks, i,d say. feels great- I really don,t like overly slim necks on a Les Paul personally. The only one i,ve ever kept is my Aria Pro 2 Leopard which i don,t think i could ever part with.

Re: MIJ Classifieds thread
Clearance sale guitar number 2:
1983 Greco Mint Collection EG59-65 Price: $475 US shipped via EMS paid by Paypal gift. Shpping to Europe an extra $15 US. ![]() WTF??????? Read on: For sale is a nice old 1983 Greco EG59-65 “Mint Collection”. She has some “issues” but none that impact playing or enjoyability. It was a mystery as to what model it was with some persons saying fret-binding was only on the 100/120 models. Someone has one that is one serial number digit has theirs listed as EG58-120. After VintageJIM was talking about 3 vs 2 hole bobbins I popped the top of a pickups and solved the mystery. Black ceramic mags = Screamin pickups = EG59-65. ALL PROCEEDS AFTER SHIPPING TO CHARITY FOR JAPAN EARTHQUAKE The place where I work has been asked to help out in one of the towns up in the affected area. Most of what we will be doing is helping elderly people clean up their houses that suffered lots of water damage. I will probably go up there some time and the money will be used to buy things necessary for the trip like cleaning supplies, rice, etc. Japan has given me a lot more than I would ever be able to give back so this is not much more than a small gesture. Features: - Kick-ass veneer top - Screamin82 pickups, PIO capacitors, original wiring. - Cracked "vintage correct" pickup rings, though I will toss in new replacements. - Unknown weight, between 3.9 kg and 4.5 kg - Frets in very good shape, nice rosewood board. - Extremely odd after-market bridge. Add $25 and I can get you an original type from YJ to put on there. - HAS A CRACK IN THE NECK. I won’t say minor, because that sounds like I am hiding something, but I actually had a hard time telling if it was in the wood or not. It was hard to get the crack to open much but I put some tite-bond in the crack (insert amateur luthier disclaimer here). There is some cracking just of the finish as well. Absolutely no problems with tuning ability. This guitar has a lot of sustain. LOTS OF PICTURES OF THE NECK IN THE SLIDESHOW. A slideshow is here with lots of pictures. Click the photo to launch: ![]() Again: Price $475 US shipped via EMS paid by Paypal gift. Shpping to Europe an extra $15 US And once again: PROCEEDS AFTER SHIPPING TO GO TO CHARITY HERE IN JAPAN The guitar will ship well-padded with a generic soft case. Send me a PM if you are interested. |

Re: MIJ Classifieds thread
i wouldn't be so sure its a 65 wulf fret binding is a better indication of model than the PU's, and to my recollection the dry 82 have the same construction as the screamin... but i may be wrong there...
