My Tokai deserves it's own thread!
I posted about this one in another thread, but felt it deserved it's own.
Long story short: I got it for $450 with a case and it already had SD Pearly Gates in the neck and a '59 in the bridge. The pickups really surprised me with how great they sounded so I left them in and rewired everything 50s style with cloth wiring and NOS vintage caps. Then I did a little aging. It has a Historic Truss Rod Cover, pickup rings, switchwasher and switchtip. Enjoy! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I like Tokai guitars, they made better Les Pauls than Big G did for many years.
Japanese anal retentiveness for specs and vintage looks at it's best, enjoy.

Well, the search for good deals does not come cheap. I bet I've wasted thousands of my company's dollars searching the Internet on a daily basis.
And, finally, I hit paydirt.

I setup feeds (feedreader) for all the guitar brands I'm insterested in. Then I check them throughout the day.

Wow, that's an awesome guitar. Seems like you got a pretty good deal on it as well.

I got a scuffed 80's Burny with a SD TB4 bridge and T-top neck for £315, and I thought that was a deal. Yours is beyond that, it's a steal
