yeah well MY custom looked white in the photos too.
Maybe it just got an instant tan from the harsh australian sun the moment I opened the box?

It has L8001 pups (now confirmed) which are original to it too. Nils told me the soldering was untouched when he got it, he changed the pups once to Peter Florance.
L8001s should be in FLG90 Terada's only, the FLG240 (& 150) should have Seymour Duncan 59s. But this was a custom order so I guess the guy that ordered it could get it as he wanted it.
Really?!? Is it the one pictured on his Burny page? I can't believe he sold it!! How come?

Nice...didn't know our shitty Canadian programming made it out of our country.
SCTV is a must watch classic however
Have you ever watched any of those?
All classic actors from that show

Oh yeah? Niiiice!
I am sure those pups scream
I am playing my Mojo Machine right now.
I took the pups out yesterday and put my Maxon PU2's in for the 1st time...holy shit incredible pups.
They sound as good as the Dry 82's easy IMO
Also swapped the tuners for some satin Grovers...had to bore out the holes.
Reglued some inlays and lightly sanded the freboard, replaced the tail and bridge with a faded gold set from a Burny (bought the set off Yahoo) and this guitar rocks now.
I am amazed how nicely it plays and the pups sustain like mad.

Re: The Unofficial Official Anything Burny Theory, Photo, & ID Related Thread

one of the bridge posts is higher than the other.I've tried the 2 nut method but can't seem to lower it any.It looks ridiculous actually. On the bass side too so sticks in the hand when muting.
other than that just needs a cleanup, some caps, reglue some inlays & a new switch.

Can you unscrew them out?
If so you could use a mm smaller drill bit with the depth stop and drill the holes a little deeper
It is possible they didn't drill them deep enough
They will just self tap into the wood and you are good to go
