Greco EG59-70 at Ishibashi for a decent price with a few battle scars. It is listed as as EG-500 when you search "Greco" on the U-Box stire. Note there is another Greco listed as an EG-800C but don't get too excited, it is in fact an EGC-500. Also note the vintage Greco phase pedal.

Good question! I'd like to say I know because it doesn't have waffelback tuners, but in fact if you look at the Japanese Site and type in Greco to find the same listing, it says so in the Japanese listing. See if this will go into your translation engine of choice:

※型番の表記が間違っております。正しくはEGC68-50です。

That is not in the English listing though, so buyer beware for anything else you may find there.

No, I am NOT taking the plunge on another Greco even though there are 7 hours left until 2011. I have taken the plunge a few times too many this year and need to start selling some guitars, or start taking empty boxes out the house and pretending I am going to the post office with a guitar inside.

That looks like a good deal though...would give you a nice 1990 to compare yours to. But wait, here is another 1990: 1990 Greco number 2
