And why shouldn't you?!?! A true 59-Reissue, with a SOLID top, and (for once on an OBG) a very nicely matched back. I assume that the zebra's are '57's?

Thanks 3pup...it does have the 57's in it. I'll get those pictures when the excitement wears off

The back is almost perfectly matched, I brought it to a great friend of mine who is quite the expert and he grades it a 9/10.

Thanks Brian. It's not all that bright actually...I had to take a lot of pictures in all kinds of different light and camera settings to get to look brighter. I bought it from a guy in Japan, they have all the best stuff over there

Nice one Gammy! I am sure that is the very one I missed out on by a late email rather than buying on the site. It looks even better in your pictures. I am happy to know that it ended up in Canada though. The seller has some real deals on his site.

I'd put that guitar up against 99% of the Gibsons out there and you won't find any better......... I know it would absolutely dog my 01 Classic hands down.

I have never graded a guitar and have never really thought about it. This guitar only has a few light scratches on the back from normal play.

I'd give it a minimum of 8.5 being conservative just based on your photos...... and probably closer to 9+, you got a great guitar, I'd forget about the LPC85 now...........
