That would make a sweet picker. Looks like it is in excellent condition. I'd be happy to reassemble it and get that puppy jamming like it should.

Buy some cheapie pups off guitarfetish, put it together, find a kid that can't afford a guitar-but wants a guitar more than anything in the world, and give it to him.

Put it up on Ebay. Someone will buy it, and you'll have a little cash.

That's so cool. The first amp I ever got to go with my Silvertone guitar was a Univox amp.

Re: what the heck to do with this thing

If you give it to a kid I have some genuine Japanese Gotoh pickups and genuine Japanese broken rings.
I'm sure alot of guys here have the same and are willing.
That POS is doing nothing in your closet and is never going to be a collectors item.
Guaranteed positve outcomes giving it away to a good kid.

This is the best idea, and if you put this in the backstage and go with this idea there will be a few people with pups they would be more than willing to throw at you for that kind of project.

We have the technology...

But seriously--we do--or some of us do.
Not me really.

Anyway--if you won't be using it--giving it away sounds cool.
