Just put a deposit on a Fano SP6
I just put down a deposit on a Fano SP6 in Mary Kaye white, with a bigsby. It will be ready in june because I am having the store mod some of it for me.
I absolutely love this guitar and can't wait to get it in! Will post pics once it comes! |

Mmm, interesting choice! Guitarist magazine in the Uk reviewed the Fano Alt de Facto some time back - it got rave reviews for quality, tone, the works really - would like one myself. Post some pics when it arrives!

I just checked out their website. That Firebird-esque model is very badass. If they would make it with humbuckers for me, I might go for one.

Looks nice! How does it sound? How does it play? Tonight, we live vicariously through you...

It plays amazing! the neck is shaved like a JPP and has no lacquer on it. I love the Bigsby on it. Both pickups are lollar, Nitro finish, fender scale, medium height frets, ect. It's pretty much a blend of all my fav guitars.

Re: Just put a deposit on a Fano SP6
On the one hand, I'm very happy for you. Sounds like you;re getting a quality instrument that you think you;re gonna love and probably will. On the other hand, and not that it should matter to you, I'm not into the whole "aged" guitar thing. I'll do my own aging, thank you.
Congrats on your soon to be NGD. (or did you get it already?)
