It is a one pc top 10 top, quilt maple, color is "Fire Burst Red". The camera pics don't do it justice.

Re: New PRS

That's gorgeous.

I'm not that familiar with PRS guitars, so, how do you switch between pickups on that? Push/pull?

The knob closest to the bridge is a 5-way rotary. Some love it - some don't.

That is a GORGEOUS PRS.

This guy's video does a good job of showing what the 5-way does. It's too bad you can't use both humbuckers like you can with the 3-way & push pulls.

Re: New PRS

Cool PRS Nofret If it "sang to you" then you had to take it home....no argument from me on that count. PRS quality, tone and feel you just gotta dig it.

Wow, that makes for some pretty interesting combinations. I'm not sure if I could get used to such a rotary switch, though.

Yeah, it does create some very different and cool sounds. I personally couldn't get used to the rotary and prefer to be able to use one coil at a time if I want, so I replaced mine with a 3-way toggle and push/pull pot. I like it much better.

Yeah, that sounds more like a configuration I could live with.
The option to use the inner or outer coils together is pretty cool, though.
