Bought on a whim.. and not regretting for a second.

Hey guys, check out my new Ibanez RG350DX. I was on vacation last week and picked this up in my travels. It sounds and plays like a dream. I've always loved the fast, thin necks of Ibanez guitars.

Shred city, eh?
Not my style, but I'm betting it plays like lightning. Have fun, and don't poke any eyes out with that headstock

Sweet. I used to own an older RG.

That guitar will serve you well.

Re: Bought on a whim.. and not regretting for a second.

very nice! I'm not a huge RG fan, but that is a very handsome guitar. I prefer the S models, I've got an Ibanez S1520B with a bubbinga top - very pretty - and it shreds like crazy! Good score, bro!

Re: Bought on a whim.. and not regretting for a second.

Like I posted earlier, I had an rg550 about 20 years ago. desert yellow, black pickguard, maple neck/fretboard...amazing!!! Within the last 6 months I got an s470 in a trade and sold it. I thought the tremolo was a piece of crap compared to the rg I had. How would you compare the rg350 to the older rg's and the newer s470's?

Re: Bought on a whim.. and not regretting for a second.

I had an S7320, and actually liked the ZR trem compared to the edge on my RG550. It seemed more responsive, however, it was quite a few years newer, too.
