Fender "Fat Cat" Stratocaster does it exist?

This may be a very stupid question but it has been bothering me... in 1998/99 a friend of mine went to Music Stop and bought a Fender Stratocaster.. They were selling for $700, USA made, 21 frets, maple fretboard, HSS configuration. My friend told me that the people at Music Stop called them "Fat Cat Strats". The one he bought was Fiesta Red. I played it many times and love it! I tried looking for one a few years later but could not find anything about "Fat Cat Strats". I asked my friend if he was sure that was the correct name and that he didn't mistake them for saying "Fat Strat" not "Cat".. he said he was certain it was called a "Fat Cat".. He sold the guitar in 2002.. It has bothered me ever since whenever I think about cool guitars I've played cause that was always one of them.. I'm also curious to know why that were so inexpensive $700 new USA made..
Does anyone know anything about these? I've even tried to find a picture of a fiesta red hss strat with no luck

Yes, Fat Strat. I think, because of the HSS setup. They were/are made over several years both in Mexico and the USA.
