Me and my friend are trying to find out what kind of wood this guitar is made out and can't find it anywhere.
Carlo Robelli USH500HB Hollow Body Electric Guitar | Sam Ash Music 1-800-4-SAMASH Played one of these once and it's lovely, but we're trying to figure out what kind of wood the body's made of, he wants to know cuz he's trying to figure out what pickup to get for it, I want to know cuz I want to know. Anybody? Please and thanks

Re: Carlo Robelli USH500HB
I'm would guess its a veneer over basswood or plywood.
I would go with a low out put humbucker wax potted. Some hollow bodied guitars have a tendency to feed back. Medium might work OK too.If it sounds good just leave it alone. |
