'93 discontinued Fender Stratocaster Made in Korea. They're the ones with the "CN" Serials.

Re: Black guitar appreciation thread.
Yep, there's just something special about a black guitar. When out to get me a new Santana SE it was the standard black that kept hollering louder than the colored flame tops, and came at a nicer price to boot. Elegance and me, a mismatch made in Heaven.

Re: Black guitar appreciation thread.
Then we must have a mutual friend in Hawaii's best blues and steel man, former Stajefrite lead, Bobby Ingano. And maybe Hawaii's greatest rockers, the Carter Bros., Scott and Mark, ala Twin Sin/Zontrazio?

Re: Black guitar appreciation thread.
Way cool. I've been great friends with those 3 guys since 1980, and am hoping to get the track Thirteen And Beyond sent to me as I write, as nothing really exists from the twin's reign. I can trow a rock and hit the Carter house from mine, they're still playing, but killer accoustic, Mark's on guitar now too.

Re: Black guitar appreciation thread.
A black Rickenbacker. Truly one of the finest black guitars of all.

Re: Black guitar appreciation thread.
Very nice. I really like dual binding on a tele. That looks almost exactly like my blueburst G&L ASAT Bluesboy. Except for the color...and that it's a lefty.

Re: Black guitar appreciation thread.
This will probably piss some folks off in this thread, but that's okay.
I bought this one a while back, killer guitar, but way too black/metal for my tastes, so I had it changed, no longer black. before: ![]() after:
