So I got to thinking...
I recently bought a new Jackon RRXT (Was thinking about a NGD post, but I'll wait until my dad's new stuff gets here, because his needs to be shipped)
and figured, It's neck-through, had binding, and the pickguard and stuff... Where can I find gold/brassy colored parts to make it look like Randy's black jackson? I can't find a pickguard, or the plate thingy where the strings come in, or a jack plate thing. I also need to look for pickup rings, but I'm not sure how to shop for those, if I can just buy some and throw 'em in. Anybody have any idea where to get the stuff for this? |

Re: So I got to thinking...
I also wanted to change the pickups, because my Schecter has cheaper pickups very similar to these (Dunan Design)
With a Basswood body and a Line 6 spider 4 amp, what pickup would be best for the bridge? A Super Distortion, like Randy Rhoads used, or a JB, that everyone seems to love. |

Re: So I got to thinking...
Either the SD or the JB will suit it well. First I have heard of this model (I don't pay much attention, obviously). I kinda dig the Kawasabi Green!
