Just funnin' ya - I like your passion for supporting American guitar companies - I unfortunately don't have enough money on hand to, but I'll own a Gibson someday. It may be used, but it's sort of a dream of mine to own a Gibson someday.

It's not that Gibson can't afford him. It's because he is contractually obligated to only play Ibanez guitars live (hence, he's a sell-out).

BTW, it's not our fault we "support asian guitars". For most of us, they're all we can afford. I blame Bush!

Out of the range of many, if not most, players. I think Ibanez and Epiphone have a pretty decent niche with the Artcore and Dot series guitars.

Why am I supposed to shell out that much money for an "american made" guitar If I can get a Japanese, Swedish, German, British and sometimes even Korean made guitar for considerably less?
Simply because it's american? Come on...globalization is in full effect and indirectly supporting another economy is like supporting your own.
(Especially with all the US companies only employing US workes in the tertiary sector and outsourcing the rest to other countries!)

Dont know about you guys but id die for a ES-175...those things sound amazing. Way better then any hollow Ibanez, but the Ibanez guitars are pretty damn good for the price.
