Lets See Your Fat Strats - HSS Stratocaster Post EM!
1992 HSS USA Standard Stratocaster. It is modded to be like a deluxe and there is a Bartolini Humbucker in the Bridge. It is a Wilkinson Tremolo. I added locking tuners.
Love my Strat. ![]() ![]() ![]()

My first guitar. She's a 60th anniversary MIM. Sounds and plays great. I probably use this guitar more than any of my others.

Nice axes. Classy pics LP01. I have an old Dean fat strat knockoff from 1990, but alas, it's not a Fender, so I can't post it here per thread title.

Is it ok if a Fat guy with a regular strat adds one?
![]() Or two? ![]() If not, I'll pull them back.

Re: Lets See Your Fat Strats - HSS Stratocaster Post EM!
Ahhh. Nice guitars, gents. I wish I could play but my Strat has two humbuckers.
Awe, hell. Y'all don't mind, do ya? ![]()

Re: Lets See Your Fat Strats - HSS Stratocaster Post EM!
Break it on out Job-Job type Job.I've often wondered how those sound.I wish that my Strat came with those nice fret markers like that Dean has up there too,and the finger board looks amazing up close.Hell all of them look good.I thought I was the only one here that had a hankering for single coils, fat Strats and such.Rock on fellows.
Now I do like some warmth of the humbuckers too.

![]() ![]() A pair of Pearly Gates. This has been my go-to workhorse for the last 10 years. It sounds good...in a word.

Fat strats are the perfect guitar imo, I've got 3 but mine all have floyds cause I'm hardcore.

It's actually an HSH route, but who's counting, it's all good!
Love the reverse-slant on the bridge pickup!

Glad I own this one (MIM Strat) but to be honest, I'm really more of an archtop guy.
