I second this! I recently bought a Larrivee RS2, and it is an amazing instrument. The Larrivee family and their employees attention to detail is bloody impressive.... .

Congratulations!

A buddy of mine who works in their Oxnard factory has a couple of their 'fiddles, an RS (2, I think) and a OOO-style acoustic. They are both fine guitars, especially the OOO -- it's an awesome fingerpicker. I'll bet he did the finish or fretting on yours; he's worked in both shops in the last 18 months. What year?

My RS4 birthday is 2/12/2009. Please thank your friend for me. I love it so much that I am looking for a second, but with P90's. I hear that Matt has been winding some sweet sound 90's.

I don't think he was working there then, but I'll certainly pass on your kind words. Those are some damned good guitars, and I really like yours.

Hands down my favorite guitar and company period! Mr. Larrivee and family make in my opinion some of the finest guitars around. Their customer service is second to none. My emails are always answered within a day.

Re: NGD Larrivee RS4

I'm interested in these but can't stand thin necks. They look pretty thin from what I can tell from pictures. What's the depth at the first fret? Thanks.

I'd really like to get one of these, it looks and sounds gorgeous, and looks really comfortable.
