Active PU battery placement on an Explorer?
Getting ready to throw a couple EMG X Series into my Explorer. I'm assuming based on the length of the wiring the battery will have to go in the pot cavity on the back of the guitar. What experience have you guys had with this? Can it just rest inside wrapped in a little foam or will I have to mod a little to make room? Pics if you have em...

Re: Active PU battery placement on an Explorer?
I have a gibby with active 81/85s in it, and the battery simply rests in the pot cavity. Its pretty tight with enough foam that it doesnt bounce around, and mess up the wiring.

Re: Active PU battery placement on an Explorer?
I have the same pickups in my Explorer as well, and the battery is in the knob cavity.
