Okay, I gotta ask. what kind of knob is that???

Hey all,

I noticed in one of the Melody Maker threads that on Joan Jett's MM she has a wierdo knob for the volume. This is on her white MM. Anybody know what kind of knob it is? It looks like an old printing press knob? Someone out there's gotta know??????

That MM? Looks like a white Strat knob for tone and.. well the pic is really small to make out the other one. You have any better pics?

Oh.. here's a bigger pic (thanks to BCRGreg who got to handle her guitars as well as go to an Aerosmith concert with her... lucky bastard)...

Definitely a strat knob for tone... no idea wtf that volume knob is though.

Hey Jason,

There's a thread in this forum that's titled "Joan Jett Melody Maker", if you go to that thread and scroll down you'll see some close up pics one of the guys posted. I just am really curious when I see different things on guitars that are out of the ordinary.
You could go to "search" and key in Joan Jett and the thread pops up.
