Thats the most horrible headstock I have ever seen!

The rest of the setup is pretty odd aswell.

Re: 7-string Explorer

I remember playing street hockey & pretending my hockey stick was a guitar--well now you can use a guitar as a hockey stick!

I have seen this on another board--and it has a certain "cool" factor, but it's not my kind of thing.

Re: 7-string Explorer

it looks cool because the headstock is pretty ugly and a 7 string explorer is pretty rare, so i would love to have that guitar

Re: 7-string Explorer

Yikes.

For the company that came up with the most perfect headstock design ever - the open-book - they sure seem to get a kick out of designing butt-ugly headstocks.

Re: 7-string Explorer

I had one exactly like that back in 2004 -- same case too. Sold it to a guy in Canada. Could there have been more than one of them built?

I'm attaching a pic of mine. Have more pics if you want to see 'em.
