Gibson ES-339
Any one here play one? I really want to buy one and as soon as my local guitar joint gets them in i think im going to... so any one have any good input on this guitar? I want to use it for standard and slide playing, hoping to get a nice bluesy tone out of it.
If anyone has one could you post some pictures? I love to see as many as i can

Re: Gibson ES-339
Ya, the figuered ones are real nice, thats actually the only 339 ive played but the finish just didnt do it for me.
But... Im debating now if I want to buy the 339 or something like a Les Paul Classic in possibly a honeyburst. The reason being for this is that i think i may want to over time "vintagize" it with P.A.F. clone pickups that are worn and some aged hardware. What do you guys think i should do??? |
